Needless to say they are expensive and out of the reach of the common man. So, while the few take a look at them and start calculating when they can (if at all) buy one of these, the rest can just sit back and enjoy the treat free of cost.
1. 2012 BMW V10 Twin-Turbo

What’s Exciting: While most of it is still rumored, we hear that this beauty of a car from BMW would generate a heart thumping 635hp, thanks to its powerful V10.
Like most of the supercars, this beast is also likely to have extensive carbon fiber material.
Price: Speculated to be around €300,000.
2. 2012 Pagani Huayra

What’s Exciting: Mercedez-Benz’s AMG 6liter 12 cylinder engine is coupled with two superchargers. 700hp of power is generated by the power plant and the vehicle can attain a top speed of 230mph. Only 18 units manufactured for the entire world and another 18 units manufactured for America.
Price: Mind boggling $1,100,000, making it one of the costliest cars in the world.
3. 2012 Audi R8 GT

What’s Exciting: The extensive use of carbon fiber is even seen in the gearshift lever for the R tronic gearbox, making it the most unique shift knobs. It is powered by a 5.2liter V10 that churns out 560hp and 398lb-ft of torque.
The supercar promises respectable gas economy at 13mpg on city roads and 19mpg on highways.
Price: A steep price tag of $196,800 again makes it more of a sight.
4. 2012 BMW F10 M5

What’s Exciting: The 4.4liter V8 produces 552hp of power and 502 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a new seven-speed M Double Clutch gearbox. The top speed of the vehicle is 155mph.
Price: Speculated to be around €102,700.
5. 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302

The vehicle can sprint from 0-60mph in flat 4.4seconds. It also offers one of the best soundtracks ever in a mass-production car.
Price: At an MSRP tag of $43,100 this can be one of those supercars that can be bought by even the non-business class buyers.
6. 2012 Dagger GT

What’s Exciting: This beauty of a super car is the one that is going to shake the ground once it releases. The vehicle sprints from 0-60mph in just 1.5seconds, which is the quickest in the world. It can reach the top speed of 300mph. The engine generates the galactic power of 2000hp.
Price: The starting price is expected to be $450,000.
7. 2012 Hennessey Venom GT

What’s Exciting: The design resembles that of a racing car and so does it on road performance. The engine churns out a mind blowing 1,200hp and it accelerates from 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds, all this thanks to the super tuned V8 that powers the speed demon.
Price: At a price of $950,000 it is once again out of the reach of most.
8. 2012 Nissan GT-R

What’s Exciting: This beauty of a supercar is a legend and the 2012 edition gets just a bit more exciting. The new launch control integrated in it adds another 20 psi this time.
The twin turbocharged 530 horses and 448 lb-ft of thrust do mean something, not to forget it zooms away from 0-60mph in an eye blinking 2.9 seconds. Surprisingly the car offers decent gas economy of 23mpg combine.
Price: The price of 2012 GT-R can be as much as $95,100.
9. 2012 Lexus LFA

What’s Exciting: Killer looks and killer performance are its USP. The 4.8 liter V10 churns out enough oomph to make it one of the most powerful cars in the world. The 552hp of power and top speed of 202mph makes it one of the most sort after vehicles in the segment.
Price: Along with being exquisite it is also super expensive at a price of $375,000.
10. 2012 Ferrari FF

What’s Exciting: This innovative on-demand all-wheel-drive vehicle is going to set newer trends in terms of technology in an automobile. The 6.3liter V12 power plant produces a mind boggling 651hp. Only 800 of these units were manufactured and they are all sold out.
Price: A Ferrari is never affordable and so is this one at a price of $300,000.
