Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Motors, revealed the brand’s next space-age innovation last night at their design and engineering studio.

This new model, nominated to be Model X, is an all-electric challenging sport-utility/crossover that sports 3 row of seating for 7 passengers, dual-motor AWD (which is optional, the base configuration is RWD), and falcon-wing doors at rear.



This new Model X is based on the same platform as that of Model S and comes with a ground-breaking technology for electric vehicles with its fore-and-aft motors.

The manufacturer claims that it has the ability to accelerate to 60 mph from a standstill in a scant 4.4 seconds. Now, that sounds quicker than Porsche 911!

The pricing of this EV is expected to be in the range of $50,000 – $75,000 similar to Model S pricing. Interested individuals can place their booking by logging on to Teslamotors.
