Opel Flextreme is a hybrid concept put forth by Opel. It can cover 55 kilometers with the help of lithium-ion battery in one charge.
Flextreme uses similar platform as well as technology as that of Chevrolet Volt. The rebadged version was released at NA International Auto Show.
Performance
E-REV drive system in the vehicle combines small gasoline engine that is used to provide electricity with lithium-ion battery pack that was located under the rear and floor seat.
Electric drive unit in the vehicle delivers total torque around 370 Nm and it can sprint 0 to 60 mph in just 9 seconds.
