Acura RDX gets its first facelift for the 2010 model year, after three years in the market; and the changes are conspicuous, with the signature Acura shield grille leaving a lasting impression.
What’s New in 2010?
New Acura RDX has a few well-designed aspects to boost its exterior appeal.
The new design for HID headlamps incorporates chrome plating treatment that complements the angular pattern set by the Acura grille.
A new air intake rests beneath the bumper, while the fog lamp housings have been revised and mounted within separate side grilles located at the corners of the new front fascia.
Specifications
Latest generation is propelled by a turbocharged 240 hp 2.3-litre 4-valve iVTEC engine with a healthy 260 lb-ft of torque. It retains its predecessor’s five-speed gearbox, with paddle mounted shifts.
An optional all-wheel drive is available in the new model breed along with the standard front wheel drive.
Standard accessories include compass, automatic headlights and a rear-view camera and a USB port with Bluetooth connectivity to link your audio player.
