Hyundai India successfully registered a whopping 42,017 domestic sales and 9,817 export units, for a total collective sale of 51,834 units in the month of January. This registered sale of 51,834 units recorded a growth of 17.2% from the year 2016.
In the Indian market, Hyundai’ sale noticed a peak increase of 10.5% by selling 42,017 units compared to last year’s January, wherein they could sell only 38,016 units.
The exports too managed to grab more deals this year. It grew by record-breaking 58% with 9,817 units this year as compared to only 6,214 units last year.
Hyundai Motor India’s, Senior Vice President, Mr. Raskesh Srivastava said, “The year 2017 looks promising with entire Industry optimistically looking forward to a positive growth.”
Hyundai has recorded growth in all of its models by 17.2 percent. The cars like Grand i10, Creta, and Elite i20 have managed to record most sales on account of their superior performance. Hyundai didn’t come up with any new launches to boost their model; their existing feat of cars was enough to achieve this.
Grand i10 and Elite i20 registered above 10k sales and Eon and Creta registered up to 6k sales.
Hyundai Motors India is among the top passenger car exporter and second largest car manufacturer in the country. It has more than eleven models and more models are going to be launched shortly. The Grand i10 facelift will be launched in Feb, and Hyundai is expecting to register more sales with this upcoming model.
The union budget for the year 2017 will additionally help Hyundai record more sales, as the budget emphasizes on improvement in rural communities giving them a more robust business network, helping the auto market industry of India and the National GDP.
