Sierra 3500 is a sturdy workhorse developed from the family of General Motors, thanks to its standard upgrades in comparison to the regular 1500-model, including a more rugged frame, a stiffened suspension, dual rear-wheels, and more powerful engine-specs.
2006 Sierra was made available in 5-main trim levels, including Work Truck, SL1, SLE1, SLE2, and top-end SLT.
The base models are equipped with a standard 6.0-liter V-8 engine that has the ability to generate an output power of 300-hp, and torque of 360 pound-ft.
Two-more powerful engine options, including 8.1-liter V-8 and 6.6-liter V-8 engines are also provided in this vehicle.

Followed by a major revision, the company has changed its nameplate from 3500 to 3500HD in 2007.
