There are automakers belonging to different segments- luxury makers, mainstream makers, and some in between the two.
Volvo is one of those makes that does not contend in the same market as Lexus or Mercedes Benz, but this perspective is likely to change in the near future.
This automaker has been trying out ideas for years to build a new flagship to overtake the likes of BMW 7-series, Mercedes Benz S-Class, Lexus LS, and Audi A8.
A series of potential patent renderings have been leaked online, strongly indicating the intentions of Volvo. But Volvo hasn’t said anything positive about this news.
So, there are doubts regarding what these patent filings are for! We’ll have to wait for some official information to be revealed in this regards.
