DIY Guide to Change the Fuel Relay on 1998 Acura RL 3.5

First of all, disconnect any of the battery cables, as a precautionary measure.

Take off the panel located below the steering wheel gently as described in the picture below -

Now, take off the connectors from main-relay box.

Note: It is a black box, and you’re most likely going to require a flash light to deal with it.

Now, remove the relay box by using a flat screw driver
and sticking it between bracket and the box

Tip: The plastic clip on the
box fits into the bracket’s notch; this is indicated by red arrows.

And that’s the end of the story; replace the fuel relay; reverse the first 3 steps by reassmble your Acura RL.
