Jeep has just about introduced a new production-intent concept edition of the award-winning Grand Cherokee model at the Houston Auto Show.
Grand Cherokee is a distinctive model with unique yet furtive exterior styling cues and is designed to draw the Cherokee customers and enthusiasts.
At the auto show, Jeep has also announced an online contest for customers to suggest a name for the new production-intent concept.

Jack Volvo Looking for Potential Partner for Small Car Development

Jack Stefan Jacoby, the CEO of Volvo has said that the company is seeking a partner for small car development in future.
Jacoby said in an interview with Financial Times, “We are open for partners. We are open for collaboration in a win-win situation for sharing platforms, for sharing engines, and for a general higher scale of economics.”

However, he went on to say that they haven’t decided anything regarding who is going to be the potential partner.
Speaking about its past, the company was acquired from Ford Motors in 2010 by Geely, a Chinese automaker. Previous year, it developed just around 450,000 cars.
It’s ambiguous if the automaker is looking for a potential partner in Asia or Europe.
Merc A-Class Teased Ahead of Geneva Release

Jack We already heard the news of Mercedes-Benz having plans of bringing its A-Class to North American market, where the vehicle was never sold before.
It is going to be quite interesting to see whether the decision will turn out in Daimler’s favour or not.
The A-Class vehicles have not quite made it really big, but the segment is on a constant rise with other big brands like Audi launching A3 and BMW launching 1 Series. The new Merc vehicle will try to take a piece of this market after its upcoming launch in Geneva Motor Show.

Nissan Pathfinder Concept Unveiled at Detroit Auto Show

Jack Covers were taken off the new concept Nissan Pathfinder at the Detroit Auto Show. The car maker claims that they have successfully managed to reduce the overall weight of the concept version by a whopping 500 pounds.
This would in turn boost the fuel economy of the vehicle by at least 25%.
