Introduced in 2010, X6 is the first ActiveHybrid model developed from the family of BMW motors. Offered as a mid-size luxury crossover SUV, it is made available in a single well-appointed trim-level.
It is equipped with a standard 4.4-liter V-8 twin-turbo engine, integrated with a pair of electric motors, and it results in a combined output power of 480-hp, and torque of 575 pound-ft.
For 2011, the automaker has come out with its first Activehybrid 7 model, which is more fuel-efficient and powerful than its sibling 750. It has been made available in both short and extended wheelbase versions.

Now, the big news is that the automaker is coming out with a new 2012 Activehybrid 5 model, which is produced based on the regular 5-Series sedan.
It is expected to be launched by spring 2012, and it is coming out with plentiful standard technology features that would result in greater MPG rating.

Jack Based very closely on the well known X6 concept, the automaker first introduced the X6 crossover in 2009, calling it as the brand’s active sport coupe.
X6 was bit changed from the concept in terms of design; in the concept version, both B-and-C pillars were recognizable, and on the production version, it was clearly visible.

The aggressive front fascia is carried from the concept; the stylish fog lamps and large air intakes create very seamless appearance.
The new X6 is longer than X5, but it loses in terms of storage and capacity, gaining in performance.
