Audi is again out with a new urban concept after its first success of urban vehicle. This is basically going to be a a tiny electric car with one + one seating arrangements, and would definitely consume less space in parking lots.
This is especially designed for a single driver, who loves to enjoy driving long distances, or say couples, with a stylish seat, which is angled and is placed quite behind as well.
The doors are the slide back type, which are used for entry and exit; they suit the best for urban spaces – so we must say that Audi has got the name bang on target – the Audi urban concept!

Audi’s R8 E-tron Bags the Maiden Victory in Electric Rally

We had showcased the pictures of Audi R8 Etron concept few months ago, and now it has shown what the beast is really capable of.
Driven by Lucas Luhr new R8 e-tron bagged its first victory in an electric rally in Austria.
Audi plans on rolling out 1,000 fully electric E-trons in North American markets by last quarter of 2012.
The pricing would obviously be higher than the regular R8 versions, which are currently sold around the $114,000 mark.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the beast, especially considering the fact that I’d be on a North American tour in third and fourth quarter of 2012, and badly needing one of the good cars (may be BMW 6 would fit by bill, but I’d definitely take a test drive and see how this beast really feels like!)
