Audi Urban Spyder Concept: 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show Preview


Audi has already gained some popularity for its first urban concept with sliding top design, and now, the automaker has decided to build a open-top version named Spyder, which was revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.

Well, the exteriors of Spyder are built with carbon fiber; the seating arrangement is for 1+1 passengers and pretty much similar to any of the top siblings. Surprisingly, the vehicle also exhibits a sporty look with open wheel design and the protective plates are enhanced with LED lights.

Spyder is powered by e-tron electric motors, but the automakers did not reveal info about the axle in which engine is mounted on.
