Nanya According to the reports of Audi, A1 Quattro model will be available in market with an AWD configuration, but not with FWD configuration.
Mechanical Details
Coming to mechanical details, A1 Quattro will appear with more muscular power-plant options in the entire lineup. However, it is expected that this vehicle will be similar to that of Audi TT 4×4 and A3 models. It will be introduced with Haldex electronic control along with an adjustable rear and front distribution system.
However, the information is limited and the vehicle will have hydraulically actuated multi-plate clutch installed in rear and front axle for uniform distribution of weight. Sadly, the vehicle will be front-biased heavily. So, one should not expect excellent handling with this vehicle.
Audi did not reveal the information about its actual introducing date, but the vehicle will be added to the lineup as a high performance A1 Variant.
