Trims and Engines
2009 Santa Fe was marketed as a stylish crossover vehicle, which was designed to carry seven passengers at a time. It was designed with both FWD and AWD configuration and available in Limited, SE, and GLE trim levels.
The trim GLE was available with a 2.7-liter V6 engine that could develop 185 hp of power, connected to a manual 5-speed gear transmission. Both Limited and SE trims got a 3.3-liter V6 engine that churned out 242 hp of power, coupled to an automatic 5-speed transmission.
Safety Features
Some of the safety features in this cool crossover are six airbags, anti-lock braking system, a traction control system, an electronic stability control system, a tire pressure monitoring system, and active front sided head restraints.
