2010 Toyota Highlander Review

The Toyota Highlander is considered as one of the very first midsize SUVs from the house of Toyota. This sports utility vehicle was initially offered with various features such as improved crashworthiness, low cabin noise, advanced handling capacity and higher level of comfort in comparison to the traditional SUVs offered by Toyota. Now, the latest generation 2010 Highlander has been rolled out, and it has created a buzz in the market.

Trims

Toyota currently offers three trim levels of 2010 Highlander models viz Limited, Sport as well as Base variants. The Highlander Sport trim is equipped with bigger wheels, luxury amenities for the convenience of passengers as well as sports tuned suspension system. The Highlander Limited variant was offered with leather upholstery, soft turning suspension system.

Drive-Train

All the 2010 Toyota Highlander models are offered in front wheel drive, but they are also available in the all wheel drive system. In terms of its engine specifications, the new Highlander is equipped with 2.7 litre 4-cylinder engine in its base variant, whereas the 3.5 litre V6 engine is available on sport and limited models. Toyota Company is also offering a hybrid powered Highlander variant these days.
